Why are people blaming the father? It was obvious that his sisters son being in hospital was taking majority of his attention,so of course he is not in the right state of mind to fully understand what's is going on.

@rachetmarvel this has been happening Sei's whole life. I don't think it's completely ok to blame the father, but Sei's whole life, the father hasn't suspected anything.

I accidently read that something like that too, but I've also heard it was probably gaslighting. Sei was away from the edge, and even if we are talking hallucination things, that's mostly about, say, seeing something wrong, not actually being at the edge vs. away. It's probably an effect of the gaslighting, because the mom had more reason to push Shigeru
