Chibi Vampire Karin chapter gap

So, in the manga Karin, there is a chapter gap between vol. 9 chapter 39 and vol. 13 chapter 51. (https://mangadex.org/chapter/330264/gap) This confuses me. Is this gap supposed to be there? Also, on MyAnimeList it says that this manga has 63 chapters, but on Mangadex there are only 58.7. I would be surprised if the case was that the scanlators just decided not to do 12 chapters in the middle of the story....

Mangaupdates says chapters 40 to 46 were uploaded by a group called Judgement Gaming

They're an inactive group since their last update was in 2009, so I don't think they purposely pulled their works of off MD (maybe), they also don't have an MD group page. Maybe their chapters are hard to find? IDK they're out there.
