Chicchai Senpai ga Kawaisugiru. - Vol. 1 Ch. 8

A moment earlier, he asked how to read the name, and then confused it anyway? Is he that bad at remembering names?

First he forgot Mitarai's name after a short time, then he immediately forgot that the boss was the duck. Has he got dementia?

I'm on jisho.org trying to figure out what association he makes for "Ikeda" at the end. I found that "ike" can strengthen a derogatory adjective, and "da" can mean "worthless," but I'm not sure he's that mean.

I thought he had trouble with the name because maybe it was Korean or something which makes it harder to say, but maybe Takase is just dumb

relatable, im really bad at remembering name
unless the person is special for me or annoying, i remember them forever

@HighStream "Ike" is also the imperative form of "iku", meaning to go; "da" can also be seen (depending on context) as a more emphatic "desu", turning a statement into an exclamation. Putting the two together would result in something like "Let's go!", which would fit Ikeda's seemingly energetic personality. Plus, the guy with him said "Let's go, Ikeda", making it something of a pun.

So she turns down invitations cause the guys will get arrested? Not sure I see that in-character...
