I havent read much manhua, but what is up with characters calling each other brother all the time?
Idk if this is every manhua or this specific author but character interactions seem so weird. I'm used to "normal" manga characters so these feel weird to me.

I'm not totally sure what it's about... but it's definitely universal to a lot of manhua and I've always assumed it's a Chinese cultural thing, although I'm not sure to what extent this sort of explicit swearing-of-bonds is an archaism or not.
(Reading more manhua these past few years has, if anything, made it clear to me that I know jack-all about Chinese cultural norms.)
