Chiyo Kuno the Psychic - Vol. 2 Ch. 37

@liquidsword I'd be surprised if my brother wasn't pretty much the same. Though he just outright refuses to watch certain anime/read manga that he deems as nonsensical, illogical, not fleshed-out enough, etc.

I'm always like "It's not supposed to be taken seriously, it's just a comedy!" and he'd always answer with stuff meaning more or less "If the author doesn't take it seriously and think through everything, the whole world and every interaction and how much sense it all makes, then it's shit".

@MonsieurQuack I'm a horrible person. I scrolled down to get a piece of the juicy drama. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I looked, or the fact that the drama wasn't juicy in the least.

@Karsh I feel like it’d be kinda hard to enjoy most fiction if you took it that seriously, but I guess people’s minds just work differently. The problem with the Kazuma dude is that they just start making shit up on their own and jump to conclusions.

Oh my God, it's not like Kazuma is talking nonsense, you might not agree with his views but he's perfectly sound. stick to r/manga or similar if you can't fathom different ideals.

BASED SNEAKY TACO

@KazumaLee94
if those are what all your groups of friends are like, you have incredibly shitty friends. generally people who are actually friends don't try and fuck up the relationships of their friends (unless they think there's something wrong with the other person/they're a bad influence). being sad that all your friends are hanging out with their boy/girlfriend instead of you isn't being an incel, it's being lonely because they're actually hanging out with someone else.

also generally the 'christmas cake' thing is just about women who aren't married or engaged. it has nothing to do with them being incels, bitter, or sleeping around.

it's also generally a good predictor that if someone brings up the whole 'incel' thing out of nowhere, it's hitting them close to home

@KazumaLee94 The "I'm not like other girls" thing is a different kettle of fish than singles envy/bitterness. It shows up in people long before puberty (speaking from personal experience), and has more to do being told that certain interests associated with femininity, like romance stories, makeup, and other people's affairs (gossip) are "silly" and only enjoyed by people who are vapid and worthy of dislike. Children who believe this narrative and aren't interested in those things in the first place often take pride in the fact that they're different and a credit to their gender.

A desire not to be associated with things you've been told that people like you are disliked for is pretty normal before you start questioning the validity of beliefs and values you've been taught as a kid.

Thank you Taco. I really missed this manga. hope you can keep with the translation. Its kinda Funny how the girl keep fighting against the future she always saw.

@sanctuary I mean, I kind of agree with the dude, and maybe I wasn't paying enough attention or smth, but most people here are simply (sometimes rudely) disagreeing with him and all that and not telling him stuff like "gtfo out of this site"

In other words, they seem to 'fathom' different ideals and it's in their right to criticize him for them, no matter if he's right or wrong.

@Rozzak Have you seen the boyfriend store during this time of coronavirus? Makes the toilet paper aisle look fully stocked.

@Rozzak tinder's not for relationships, it's just for skin slapping, especially if you're a 7 and under. I'd be wary of a long term tinder relationship like a stray animal that's progressively getting mangier

I look forward to the appearance of Truck-kun in three chapters.

Why do I even bother to read the comments anymore
