Chotto Ippai! - Vol. 5 Ch. 30 - What I strive for

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the chapter. I didn't think a TL note would be needed but Anmitsu is a type of Japanese desert that consists of fruit and jelly. Also, more Hanazono? I can't complain about that, she's grown onto me.

Pfft, rejecting big pay at a stressful job where she's just a tiny pawn? What a chump! Now all she has is a nice job managing a relaxing, friendly restaurant with staff that likes and respects her!

kinda envy her tbh

This is usually where the large cooperation goes out of its way to be a pain for the little one, mostly using underhanded and downright illegal tactics, all because they want the one person to work for them.
But friendship and smiles always prevail, as they have here. No secondary, bullshit, "near closing shop" cliffhanger. Friendship and smiles already won.

Hanazono is great! She is the spastic side character type I love.

That resolved a lot faster than I expected. Manager’s kind, calm and clear vision for her life and work is very admirable. I’ve fallen for her all over again. *swoon*

Satsuki needs to get married. Then the others need to worry about her combining family and work. Since she's so perfect, she surely wouldn't need to drop out of work following the Japanese tradition.

@Abedeus Well she's also the head chef and cooks every night from what we've seen. She also manages the kitchen and assumedly the staff. Managing and running a small restaurant is honestly an insanely stressful and time consuming job in real life but luckily this is manga. Realistically you would think if she was a high level head chef / manager at a large "group" her workload would be actually much lower in volume / time comparatively but she wouldn't get the same connection to employees or the customers and there would be more of the rat race stress.

Obviously the grandmother's place. And the little kid wasn't their daughter, but granddaughter? She just didn't know. Can't wait until they figure it out

I was under the impression that the other group was a franchisor? She should be able to join them and keep working in her own store, no? Even if the dudes offer was implicitly for a higher (regional management?) position.
