This shit right here is my childhood. It's amazing to see the actual places in real life that are modeled after in the cartoon and manga.
Being fully honest, I shed a tear reading thru this. So many fond memories, hundreds of thousands of hours spent watching the cartoons. Very unfortunate that the Taiwanese/Chinese dubs (which was what I watched) was only done up to episode 341. Aside from comedic shenanigans, every once in a while, there would be an episode that hits you right in the feels, whether you are watching it as a kid or as an adult, there would always be something you'd learn or notice out these moments.
In broadness, you'd always realize you have something in common with Ryo-chan. Again, doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult.
As far as gag mangas go, I highly recommend anyone, young or old, to dive into this series. It's make you laugh, it'll make you cry, It's honestly timeless.
