I don't think MC is at fault here. I mean, look at the title: "Cherry". He is supposed to be the "kind, inexperienced, childish, naive and immature" type of guy, which can be irritating sometimes, sure, but it is relatable if you think he's just a child now (he barely graduated high school, after all, and doesn't have any experience with women).
The FMC is the one being annoying if you ask me. I'm not sure what she wants to do with the MC. She wants to date him, or keep him waiting his entire life? I don't know, really. She is so cold and insensible towards him, but at the same time she gives him hope (like the kiss a few chapters ago).
To sum up my thoughts, I have no idea what we can expect in the future. At first I thought the MC would develop a lot along the way, being more mature and learning how to have a proper relationship with a woman, and that would naturally make the FMC fall in love with him, but now I see no future waiting for the main pair. Also, sorry if my english is bad.
