@edelgard - Are you sure about that? She's the main reason he collapsed because she wouldn't tell him anything upfront and just kept being vague. I only now believe that she actually even likes him, all of the previous chapters make you doubt her since she's so emotionless. The male MC is pretty annoying as well, but I fully expected that since he is the "Cherry boy."

No one said Senpai was ever clear of fault, and she even blames herself and takes responsibility in this chapter for it.

I think they both had their own epiphanies this chapter, and for her it was that he really is just as stubborn as she is, even if it's at his own cost.

@quagzlor Too bad that for all he tries, he has zero character development, and essentially he's still the same dumbass that he was in the early chapters. At least the annoying kohai girl got better overtime, and even the senpai had some progression, unlike him.

Isn't this more realistic though? People do tend to have those life altering moments that make us change perspectives at a snap of a finger but more often than not we'll end up doing the same things we've "learned to avoid" because we're only human. At the very least, he's become more self conscious about it. That's character development, isn't it?

You have to realize a ton of people on this site have never had any personal development ever, or at least have never looked inward to consider the changes in themselves during their lives. If it's not 100% perfect uwu waifu doki doki love they'll shit on it one way or another. A manga having characters act like real people with all the flaws that entails always gets shit on.

@flavorful It's a seinen series. I don't know what more they expect. If they only want lovey dovey development sweetness but hate slow character growth, there's a whole genre for that.
