I think it was pretty obvious that this was the reason the new girl acted as she did, but I like the conclusion the arc came to.
It's not easy and you do have to fight for it when people don't understand.

This Matsuri arc should be interesting, delving deeper into her situation and hopefully get some cute moments with her and Harumin
