To be fair to the other people he keeps making references at, Chacha would've finished 30 years ago and started serializing 39 years ago, considering that this is supposed to be 2030 or so. Men In Black was from 1997 too, so in the same general range. I mean hell, it's only rolling up on 2020 for us in a few months but those are still relatively old references to make.
