Class ga Isekai Shoukan sareta Naka Ore dake Nokotta n desu ga - Vol. 2 Ch. 13

wont beating a pretty high level angel boost the low level but stupid high stat growth guy's level and possibly instantly level him out of gods reach this seems like a dumb ass plan like the god deserves to die for that

Stereotypical foolishness - "If he's not with us, he's against us"
This ideology completely ignores the existence of neutral parties.

@Shrooman The reason is usually fear, the whole possibility that someone could reach that level probably is quite worrisome for a godlike being and unless they're benevolent they prefer to nip it in the bud ... unfortunately the bud here already has reached murderplant level. Another reason could be that they have reason to suspect he would oppose them in the future, for example they plan something that could harm people close to him or damage his lifestyle in his case.
On a side note I suspect he plans the usual bad stuff ... like use the Girl as a Bomb to take him out (and kinda ignoring the fact that that would probably seriously piss him off)

About time.. the evil god shows its intentions. I was getting concerned the author was trying to make us feel bad for this god.. Cause it wasnt working on me.

I guessing Lina is going to became a fallen angel now ? Betrayed by her god. This could be useful. Some fallen angels are sexy. ^_~ mmmmm those black wings. I'd touch them.

Why would you give him powers like that in the 1st place...

Bruh thats a retarded way of writing man.

there it is the evil bastard god... i knew this was nothing but arifureta only way worse.

Yep, I was right. Purge them gods. God of War style.
"I feel you but this is for the fate of our future" ~middle finger rises subconsciously.
He is a chill dude, if left alone will remain neutral But your attempts to control him will be the cause of your downfall. Dumb Goddess

Are angels completely unable to use logic, or is it just this one?

If YOU could defeat him, why can't you defeat the Demon Lord? If you can't defeat the Demon Lord, but CAN defeat your so called "last hope" then what does that say about his chances of defeating the Demon Lord? Why do the other gods give a fuck what Metron does? Why is he in trouble for kidnapping 39 Earthling children for use as child-soldiers (other than the obvious)? How shitty is your planet that you need kids from another world to do your fighting for you? Why not take a company of combat engineers or historical reenactors or even a bunch of gun otaku instead? Stepping up from longswords and pikes to Gatling guns, grenades and directional mines will seriously tip the balance of power.

Metron: Can't follow the law, can't maintain balance in a world. Covers up the mistake by confounding and adding to it( if nobody knows it's not wrong).
Lina: Brain-dead fanatic with -ve EQ.

The author couldn't have made it easier to blame someone and also sympathise with them than this.

Honestly I really like all of the characters so far, which is very rare for me in a manga series, so that's that.

@Raudhbjorn If you were concentrating for a bit you would have noticed that they clearly said that "Gods can't interfere with the human world," and why the hell are you taking this so seriously ? It's fiction dude, chill.

Ok, so far, this manga seems WAY better than the usual summoned to another world manga. It's actually the first time I read a manga with this plot. So at least it has a little originality. Ok, back to this chapter, I'm confused right now. So they're going to kill the mc even though it was originally the god's fault for not summoning him. Basically, if the mc had weak stats, the god wouldn't even care about him and leave him to die. SINCE he has such high stats, the god is basically acting selfish in wanting the mc to save her world. I mean, there's nothing wrong in wanting to stay in your own world without having to go at war and shit. And now, since the mc refused to fight the demon lord and all that shit, they're gonna try to kill him? Pretty messed up dude...

I don't think it's mainly because he refused to help them beat the demon lord, it's simply because of his potential to become stronger than the gods themselves. Which is why they'd prefer getting rid of any potential threat to their godhood.
