Me personally. I like this manga and hope it keeps getting translated. Smut is rare in manga and I like isekai. Nothing wrong with tons of isekai genres or the story. No point in arguing over this.
for anyone pretending to like this story for the the storytelling
it's very bad lie even pokemon have better stories than this
the girls are mindless slave who obey anything meaning they got no personality or quirk beside their body type which honestly look almost the same
even hentai wise they aren't really pretty and the scenes are pretty soft core
and to make matter worse it's isekai the most unoriginal genre sure there are some exception but the world building is literary copy and past
the mc is self insert beta loser who have no redeeming quality and didn't work even a little to get to be op
all the harem are your generic hentai characters with no depth
and the whole class somehow agreed to hate the mc for no reason
and the design is pretty dull for every characters even the joke of an anime of "i got isekai'ed with my smartphone "have better design than this
it's just wish fulfillment fantasy to ntr your bully and that's it nothing more
@pikapingouin the low ratings are reactionary 1's, as on people who were never this mangas target audience, add to that most people give manga 3 chapters to 1 volume to get its act together so you know what you are in for.
@Amduscas Yet you have no complaints about the people giving this a 10? There are plenty of good arguments for this being bottom-of-the-barrel garbage, there's not one for it being perfect. How have you possibly managed to convince yourself that the low ratings are the thoughtless ones?
@mommunism I don't support the 10 ratings either. I specifically called out the 1's because, firstly, I've never seen any manga uploaded to MD where the 10's didn't rise in reaction to 1's pouring in, rather than the other way around; and secondly, a rating of 1 is usually much farther from the truth than a rating of 10, if we're being fair.
If the artwork is 8 out of 10, and assuming the plot is even relevant to what the manga is selling, let's say it's 3 out of 10, then I would say it's at worst an average manga.
Looking at the rating distribution on just about any title, it's hard not to notice that there are people trying to maintain the integrity of the rating system by giving accurate ratings, easily seen along a reasonable range following a sensical pattern. Then there's a big long bar of 1s. Often times there is a smaller reactionary force artificially pushing the 10s; never as badly as the 1s. Both are a problem, but one is a lesser evil for sure.
Who even looks at ratings though? Imagine choosing what content to read because of the subjective and ridiculous biases of the mangadex readerbase lmao
@Amduscas This manga was rated badly from the very beginning, I saw the first chapter a few minutes after it came out. The low ratings aren't a reaction to the high ratings, they're a reaction to the premise of the manga. Also, there are almost ALWAYS more 10's than 1's. You're lying to yourself if you think that force is generally smaller, this is a special case because of how bad the manga is. And if we're being fair, the low ratings are far more justified. The art is slightly sub-par if anything (especially faces), the entire plot is nothing but an excuse for lazy fanservice, the characters are all shallow, and the dialog is an edgy cringe-fest. What could redeem this as even an average manga? What's done well here?
