He's a lil too pushy on the "human feels" topic, can't he man up and act like the situation demands, not like a whimp-->trying to explain everyone that they should feel like him and not different. It's not like she stabed him and saw his tormented dying face.

Pretty sure he's already in love. So he wanted to keep viewing her highness as pure, or innocent. So him seeing her so disinterested in the act of killing threw him off. Which is why he tried to get her to not kill, then after the fact to get an emotion.
This is also why it was "hard for him to explain" when she pressed him and deflected the topic.

He can't because acknowledging the differences between Abh and humans is the same as acknowledging how little they have in common on a personal level. When it comes to morality and emotions it's irreconcilable.

It took me so many chapters to notice that this is a remake of the seikai trilogy:
-Crest of the Stars
-Banner of the Stars
-Fragments of the Stars

I like the freshness of this adaptation and the nostalgic feeling it brings to those who read the original many years ago.
