Ironically, piecing together that backstory took the bulk of the work on this chapter. One of the text boxes by itself took several revisions and I don't think we were really satisfied with what we got either...*shrugs*

The author has a heavy handed way of just dumping lore without care, but it's fine. Gives it that old school sci-fi feel.

I feel like the strength of the series is in the characters tho.
