I thought the MC was a really serious kind of mission accomplisher judging by the prologue but damn is she super predictable. I mean all the stuff that they're doing and preparing doesn't have a shred of secrecy in it except that it's done at night time so there's conveniently no people. If the emperor is as quarter as a piece of shit he is with despicable plans I'd expect him to at least put up a fight, and he'd account for the prince's betrayal and lay a trap for him around his mother's cage.
