And alive is better than dead in my book. Also Kasia wears a colir to distinguish herself from the prince cause if I don't see their eyes, I feel like it's a gamble.

I feel bad for the prince and extremely upset that his mother is dead. I also, think that it's good that our MC was able to be apart of burying her future mother-in-law... However, all hells about to break lose for that shitty emperor and trashy other prince and I'm also glad that our prince is seeing the type of person our MC is and is trying to change that part of her. I have a feeling that's going to make her 1000x stronger.

I love the direction this is going. It has so much room for development.

@Aloya I sort of understand where you're coming from, because obviously alive is always better than being dead but, her death is actually a HUGE deal... The only reason our prince wasn't completely destroying the 1st prince and emperor completely was that the emperor was holding his mother(The Queen) hostage. The Queen saw her life as a liability to her son and not knowing if/when she was going to be rescued she took the choice of being used against her son away from the emperor

I feel quite conflicted on this. I would of preferred it if the mother's was given more time to develop and then if need be killed later to further develop the characters as it kind of feels cheap to kill her off so quickly as it feels to me as she is more a kick starter in terms of a plot point rather than a character that could kick start a event with her death. However it does at least serve as great motivation for the prince and it could still be worked out on how he deals with it personally still and how he reacts to the people involved. I just seriously hope it isn't dropped as quickly as it was brought up.

That king is the worst. I still think the empress shouldn't have done that. She lived with the emperor for years. Didn't she already know his character? Did she think he would give her up as the bargaining chip? I feel like she was just fed up with everybody and killed herself off because she was guilty of her son back. Definitely not something I can think highly of.
