Curse Blood

This feels like something from the 90s. I'm getting an Escaflowne type vibe here. It's nice to see something that isn't about OP game-like powers.

@Brightamethyst
Indeed. This is the kind of thing that should be prevalent but it isn't sadly. Now near everything must be OP MCs doing ridiculous stuff. I missed this kind of stuff.

Wish this kind of art was more common... so much detail compared to streamlined, uninspired other works that are a majority

The art is awesome, but i dont fucking understand a thing in the story...

the art style is really nostalgic, and the hectors remind me of reading my mom's comics as a kid (she collected everything with centaurs). i dont think the story is that confusing, but since it's only a few chapters at a time it might not be coming together fast enough.

Lol that Inuyasha comparison. More like From Far Away mixed with Gin no Valkyries (amongst others) IMO. If she starts commanding him to sit I'll stand corrected.

Wonderfully detailed art. Hard to find series where the environment is given such detail, which is important for world-building, I think. Soloman's character is not what I was expecting (anticipated a hotblooded idiot).

While people have mentioned it's confusing, I think the lack of story explanation makes more sense from a perspective of relating to the main character, having just been thrown into the world. Granted I do think it could have been a bit smoother.

Now as long as Kyouko (the protag) doesn't remain casted as a helpless, confused girl, I'll be set.

The artstyle is reaaally beautiful! And well the reason we dont understand anything would probably be because the story is told out of her view. At least thats what i'm thinking ?

Hiroshi Kajiyama, the author of this series passed away on July 14 2018

well, fuck, I thought I'd get back to this when there's more chapters.
RIP

The art is just so majestic and beautiful!!
Just found out the artist/author was also responsible for designing Golden Sun, one of my all time favorite games.
I was extremely saddened to hear of his passing. R.I.P. Hiroshi Kajiyama, You're a legend!

Also, side note:
If anyone is looking for a similar art style (kind of) and plot, I'd suggest reading 'From Far Away' by Kyoko Hikawa.

@KarrotKakes I did not know the artist/author actually past away- such a shame because the manga is so beautifully drawn I am sad there will not be more of it.

sadly I just found out about this series
before this I fondly remember the artist/author for hentai back in the 90s
