Well, that was a hell of a chapter. Personal tenses get really confused when everyone's talking about Hinaka now, except one time when Hinaka and Hinaka were mentioned in the same sentence.
We've doubled down on Ghost in the Machine, with a side of rogue AI that wants to take over the world (between naps), torso-girl Hinaka's still alive, Jinto still has Hinaka's father's code, and Kanata might die of VR poisoning?

Next time: Rage takes off his shirt for Kanata, and Kiryuu plans a panty raid.

@overunderthrust thank you for another chapter, and i wanted to ask you something, some chapters ago i asked if you would do the extras of the past volumes and you said you would try, i am really happy for this and i am sorry if i am occupying or annoying you with these requests but could you redo the chapters 8 through 10? They have really poor editing and translation if you don't have the time to do it or don't want to do it I understand sorry for trying to impose on you.

Does anyone else have a hard time telling these characters apart?
Hinaka and Kanata and now this Uniru are way too similar.

I can't really follow the action either...

@alacaelum there are 10 chapters left. I do plan on going back and redoing those chapters where the asides & item descriptions weren't translated, so I'll re-translate anything that looks wrong.
@Epicredeemer it's pretty sad, yeah. The next few chapters are some side-adventure fluff, and then a few chapters to close out the main plot and tie up loose ends with Hinaka and Kanata's statuses.
@tuatara1 Not quite yet, though it will end soon.
@jasty During my initial translation, I confused the characters in a couple of the zoom-ins, like where Jinto was warning Hinaka about Cylcia's surface maybe killing Kanata. I like Aoi Omori's art, but the detail doesn't touch faces. Rage & Kiryuu also look extremely similar. There's a panel coming up where they're face to face, and it's really obvious.

@S0lid_Sn4ke Sayatsuki (莢月) is the same person as Fuyuno (冬乃), who originally piloted Cylcia's surface. Japanese Wikipedia notes her in Kiryuu's bio as 莢月冬乃. I did a quick re-read to see if I missed it being spelled out in this chapter, but it only seems to be implied between Kiryuu and Jinto's dialogues, and then in Hinaka's inner monologue on the last page (I guess she must have known Sayatsuki Fuyuno if she knew Fuyuno's first name without being told).

Kiryuu says Fuyuno will be fine and she asks him to watch over anyone who uses Cylcia => Jinto says using Cylcia killed Sayatsuki => Hinaka swears to prevent the same thing happening as with Fuyuno after only hearing Jinto say Sayatsuki

In the begining, Clycia was one of Hinakas characters who was sent to Kanata by mistake... mid way through the story, its been change to be another person character whos died. Carnt just change a story mid way can you ? Why I dont think the stories that bad, some stuff could of expanded on. But changing shit like this is why I can see it can be axed. A story that starts contradicting itself. Not sure why the reason for the axing, but I would be fine to see this continue.

Well looking back on the opening panels, it seems clear the characters purpose was to be passed on. Would that have something to do with how Kanata got it ? Or got tampered with from point a to b ? Hinaka did seem adamant she didnt send Cylcia to him.

ima a little disappointed Kanata returned to normal tho, I was assuming his appearance would become a little more demonic at least.

i think that hinaka used the clycia charakter
but the engineer guy states that it was developed by someone else
so this isnt much of a contradiction, it is just a premade charakter


more or less the other technobubble bullshit is here the huger problem
