Honestly, that judgement seems a little harsh, given the extent to which human contact is important for people. Properly medieval, "you have stolen, so we'll cut off your hands" sort of stuff. Maybe she deserved it? She is pretty horrible, and abused her power horribly. The fact that it seems everyone treats her like shit behind her back doesn't excuse that... But it seems like a pretty solemn occasion.

Anyway, I feel pretty bad for her now, and hope she manages to get through it and find a nice, wholesome, healing lesbian relationship in the future. And that her kid doesn't get the brunt of any of this (though it seems more likely the kid is SoL in all this).
