Serious talk: did Hotaru's chest double in size?

This manga improved something incredibly during the time the glasses lady was introduced/Hotaru left.

I'm not entirely sure why that happened, but my suspicion is because it opened up from being 100% dagshi trivia, as was easily the case in previous chapters. Instead it had more of a focus on the slice of life and characters, with the dagashi seamlessly mixing in with the story.

While this is a highly subjective opinion, it does make me excited for the author's next work now that this manga has finished (to my knowledge. The last couple chapters haven't been scanlated yet I believe).

I agree. I don't care that much about Dagashi. It's fairly interesting but I'm gluten-free so even if I had the chance I could never eat any of. Slice of life is my favorite type of manga, though, and when this comic does it it does it well.

don't expect anything if you're here for the romance. It's the same for a lot of these gag/SOL manga (like Umaru, or the manga with the female magician, or others).
It's not the main theme, so you will probably be really disapointed if you expect too much.
