To be correct it is not called “day of the dead” but it has several names, however the meaning is conveyed.
As for my country Slovakia, the name of the holiday translates to “rememberance of the deceased” (Nov 2).
There is also the religious holiday called “Holiday of all saints” on November 1, which also celebrates the deceased saints.

As for “Utopenec” it translates to “drowned man (singular)” not plural.
