So when they have a kid, who gets custody afterwards? The author knows that we know that they won't split up for realsies, but this is a character- (or world-) building moment, and they missed it. Though, the contract strongly incentivizes her to have a kid, so maybe he would keep it? This is going to bother me more than the long necks. 😓😓😓


It might be a bit early to call, but this series seems like it has a lot of Chekov's guns. Anybody else get that feeling?

Ok but those are some good ass terms. I would accept it in a heartbeat. Not falling in love is pretty easy for me. All i have to do is just marry him, enjoy my life and when he becomes a duke, he would divorce me. After that i would come out as a filthy rich widow, i don't even need to marry any man and live my life happily and freely.
 
The thing with the child is funny, because their are supposedly discussing a prenuptial agreement for a mutually loveless marriage of convenience, with a predetermined ending condition, but for some reason there is fucking involved. And then she's like "they are all good terms, he'll try fuck me, for a diamond mine, even though I don't like him. I'm so rational, and not a prostitute."
 
Oho, i thought it will be a loveless marriage like no touching and all of that but the contract made it sound like he want to do all of things a marriage couple do uwu
 
@ooPh9quu but realistically a child in this relationship whether conceived politically or not is still favored highly. Continuing royal blood is almost never a negative for people in power, sure you can adopt but the discrepancies and the preferences always shine out with an adopted prodigy rather than one not. If they conceive a kid, it’s still in their benefit whether they divorce or not. She’s not a prostitute for sleeping with a man, the only man she’s married to mind that and reaping benefits years later?? Is it because there’s no love in the relationship that she must be a prostitute? It’s still a marriage at the end of the day, arranged, political, natural or not people fuck in marriages that’s nothing new. If you marry someone and don’t sign a prenup then they divorce you and take half of your financial rights are you going to call them a whore??? Like?? We really slut-shaming in 2020 lol.

Sorry, I guess, the webtoon chose to go the MA route for you??? But there’s plenty of other webtoons like this that have fuckless marriages.
