@sherrynity Yea, that's talking realistically. But talking from the point of view of a lovestory, that's a no from me. Polygamy, adultery and stuff are a definite no for me if those don't work as something negative in the plot. (I should clarify that I'm someone who hates harem, so there's your answer.)

So even if it's because the story isn't finished that you hate death, your reason probably align with the author. I personally don't see that as a bad thing, as I'm sure you also have sympathy for those who knew them.
