Why is everyone complaining about kocis? Isn't this the same situation as a harem? One legal wife + mistress, isn't it a harem? Plus FMC accept Kocis and his relationship with her husband
 
This was actually normal for nobility tho. A legal wife and a concubine; just with less friction in this case. If each sides are okay with the arrangement, why not?

Wait a second, the MC is now implied to have a divinely mandated perfect memory, but she can't remember what happened with her husband (rapist)?

It might not feel like it when reading, it isn't given the proper gravity in the situation, but she is clearly uninterested in having sex with him.
She wants to talk - he wants sex.
That is not consent.
Being married is also not consent.
ML should just be happy she lets him have a mistress and stop trying to sex her up. She can't even remember it, for Fs sake.
Zero consideration on his part.
 
@Vera You said it. That's exactly how I feel about this situation. Some people might think of it as a rough wild guy taking charge, but it comes off as HELLA rape. Especially her fucking reaction after they did it? That's not happy afterglow. That's suffering.
 
Okay so first I really don't like the rapeyness in this but I'm assuming that it's not actually non-consensual otherwise she wouldn't be so calm around him, she'd probably kill him tbh.

Second, this is the FIRST manga I've read that has such open themes of polyamory and I'm kinda loving it.
 
Discovered this today, got my hopes up for the story, then ended up with my inner fujo and my morality duking it out bc of this rape-y ML.

He's a normal guy for their world but gaw do I hate it. She even erased their nights together from her photographic memory it was so bad. And everyone is just gonna continue on like nothing is wrong. If only the comedy didn't revolve around this open abuse of the FMC.

lol i never thought that as a rape until i saw the comment section. I guess this clearly shows the difference in culture and how you guys aren't the target audience.
 
If a woman is literally kicking and screaming out NO to you, it's a safe bet that you don't have consent. That doesn't really fall into something you brush off as cultural unless you want to make the culture look bad.
 
@Kiriha precisely. The japanese who are practically sensitive on the mental side doesn't even make this a problem? If it was, this would have explode. I don't even have the thought of rape in my head.
