It’s doesn’t seem suspicious, it is suspicious and from the kids alone you can already infer that he doesn’t want a non sexual relationship. If you plan to break up when you find someone else that’s fine but only if strong feelings weren’t developed yet and from these past chapters I really don’t believe feeling won’t develop bc they (at least the guy) likes each other (not sure if the girl likes him or if it’s just attraction but she probably does have some feelings for him). Having feelings for someone else and having a relationship with them when you meet the person and breaking up with that person just to immediately start a new relationship with no break in between just doesn’t feel fair to anyone involved bc she won’t have time to move on and sort and her feelings to be able to move to a stable, serious relationship. Also the point of the guy disappearing when she finds someone else is also questionable in my opinion.
Anyway, Ik this is just a story and it will probably end with them getting together and eventually getting married. I just felt like writing this comment after I thought logically on how this will probably would go on if they stick with this arrangement. Sorry if I didn’t make sense. Also I think she is also somewhat aware of this as she is trying to take some precautions and making rules on how far they can go in their relationship...

Oof. I definitely don't like where this is going. I don't like the concept of dating for fun but personal opinion aside, if she's going to establish rules she has to stick with them. He's just pressuring her to go along with what he wants and she has done nothing to stop it so far. At least her friend was giving her some solid advice because this kind of thing will get messy.

Also offtopic, but the setting kind of reminds me of a visual novel with an office lady route I read. Granted it wasn't anything special nor anything better than the other main routes, so I'm really glad this exists.
