Extremely self-righteous characters usually are not sane anyway.

@Aliceteria Maybe the priest will leave the party due the hero trying to kill him, because he's a guy and therefore a problem to his mental state harem. The priest then uses magic to disguise himself as a loli mage and gets back in the party to complete his job.
