And manga downtones her stupidity by A LOT. In novel Ares's dagger didn't even break (it's a fucking mythril dagger, no way that vamp should be able to break it) and he was beating the shit out of this vampire, then stupid hero desided to pass him his mace just because she couldn't bear to stand there and do nothing. Just typing this makes me mad at her once again.

In this world gender influences stats and thus is pretty much relevant. Girls usually make poor swordsmen and, well, hero equipment is shield, sword and armor.
