Mad lad Gregorio would have been a terrible choice for the party.
If I remember correctly...

He can´t use healing magic and can only use offensive holy magic that he uses to smite heretics and monsters.
He is pretty much a weaker version of the main priest character but at a lower level and unable to heal/support other people.
Imagine a Paladin from an RPG who can´t heal and you are pretty close.

Imagine if he’s the demon lord and they’re doing this as a joke so his death humiliates him later. At this point with the amount of screwing over he’s getting it would be an interesting development.
