Darling in the FranXX - Vol. 8 Ch. 60

Nooo they don't save code 00 ... and it doesn't resolve the extra terrestrial invaders either...
but well at least they're together now Q.Q

even if it feels rushed at least this ending was better than the shitshow of a ending in the anime

Rushed as fuck, but they didn't went to space to die, so it's better than anime. It's nice that 9s didn't die.

So Virm is the "good" guy here, and Klaxohime is "bad"? How could this ending make any sense to the built-up plot, where every kid was injected with some serum, used the deformed version of Klaxosaur's weapon and brought to battlefield when they didn't even know why they had to fight? Then that Virm dude said they gave a "little" push. What the heck?
I can still stand the sudden alien antagonist in the anime but this conclusion was so abominable.

"STILL BETTER THAN ANIME"

>Literally the same fucking storyline, same characters, same results, the only difference is that pretty much every interaction and backstory was cut out almost completely.

But no, since Hiro and Zero Two didn't die, didn't make an actual sacrifice, which still wouldn't even explain how they managed to beat the fucking rulers of the galaxy, it's better than anime. Even though, since it's the same story, and VIRM didn't disappear, instead of a sacrifice ending, which was at least an ending, we get a HUGE fuck of a white hole. Great analysis skills, guys, proud of you.

This manga, in the end, turned out to be even worse than a regular run-of-the-mill title. They took an already bad story, and thinned it down. Nice fucking work, おめでとう.
4/10, hard to recommend to even the anime fans.

Even tho hir02 survived this ending is lame. Should have at least made the final battle more epic instead of incapacitating klaxxo princess who was hogtied to the ground and can’t fight back, the ‘victory’ was so laughable, like stealing candy from a baby, making hir02 look stupid.

What’s worse, this doesn’t change the official ending, unless they rewrite the anime and retcon the released merchandise. This does not erase the abomination ‘True Apus’ which is literally the namesake of the series. Darling(Hiro) in the Franxx(zerotsu).

Its was ehhh. I think what was kind of lackluster was the scene where 002 and Hiro meet. Of course in any anime there would be more expression of emotion to be seen, but I didn't feel much if not any here. Like many people, this felt rushed. Not to say it was horrible but it felt it needed more.

Bad ending, but still better than the anime. The ending of the anime is so random that everything is better.
