Ryuuji is confident that he killed the guy - meaning he saw blood and the corpse remained afterwards. Moreover, a research shows there is no resident of the off range village that looks like this guy.

It's someone who knows Ryuuji killed Cross Kazuya, and apparently wants revenge for it. Probably a relative.

@Kyujyu I've thought about that, but it felt too early to tell. One theory I have is that someone has more or less taken over the village and Nayuki is either in on it or one of those "golem" things. I don't think this is the case, especially since this arc is tied to Ryuuji's backstory; as someone has pointed out, whoever is responsible for these "golems" knows about Ryuuji's past and seems to have a personal vendetta against him. Other than cornering them so far, the attacks shown have been outright blatant and premature; I'm just curious about how the mastermind is able to observe them.

@MoonlightwolfchanX IIRC in the chapter where the CIA agent was typing out a report and then got killed by the Executioner priest, it mentioned them.

Shuka's folks are dead but left a shit tonne of money behind, Kaname's mom is dead and his father is working overseas, Rain is independent and Sui's folks are also dead.
