I guess the nation abandoned that zone to the greed?
Normally you'd have a full scale war and scientific research centers set up, not to mention a quarantine barricade around the zone....
You would have support of the united nations to capture and study the greed.
This all seems lax and convenient to the plot.

I bet it's their world GM that send kaname in the future since he decided to separate him from the other when sending the group in oni land back to earth. And I'm sure he won't separate shuka from him too much or her madness will be over the top, well we will see it in this future, heck I'm sure a lot of raven will die before GM sending kaname back.
remember survival island with gorilla it was a possible future and they just got send back (with some islander) when event was over

@hrs6gm it was never implied that the GM can do the time manipulation, but it is implied that there are alot of worlds out there and the GMs can interact with each other. The survival island was another world's remain that somehow both GM works to sent it to the Earth(original world), as it was revealed it happened in the Earth's ocean. In the world O, it was revealed times flows differently, as when they sent expeditions on Earth, the Earth always vastly changed(from Roman empire to present at Earth passes only in the span of 200 years or something at the world O).

@HDNeptune if i understand correctly it was basically another Dimension, because of this each dimension moves at its own speeds, for example lets say they were in that other world for 5 months which was 5 years in their dimensions time, more importantly tho....shuka is still over there and wont be coming back anytime soon.....im extremely sad
