I like the new Kaname and what's even better is that he doesn't start off as a wimp like most survival manga characters with "no killing" rule. He's level headed from the beginning and can take action when he needs to change... unlike someone like Yuki from Mirai Nikki.

@FirstDayRegister well remember they are "actual idiots" who over relied on the boss, and didn't do much thinking for themselves. And as we saw from the last chapter ~75% of people's sigils are fairly weak. It also helps that Kaname has superior firepower and has them scared shitless.
