I like this more than Mitsuteru's "Takeda Shingen." Shingen had a sort of carte blanche that let him maneuver much any way he wanted, which really gives a sense of freedom and fulfilled potential, but the way Masamune has to compromise and weasel himself through whatever tiny crack in Hideyoshi's and Ieyasu's power he can exploit, says a lot more about the society of the time and the burdens of political power.
