@FredFriendly most of my family immigrated from there and its not always the case when it comes to alot of constant disrespect someones bound to get punched no matter the circumstance especially with younger generations going further and further from that era. Idk recently my cousin saw a kid punch a creepy guy in the jaw in kyoto near his apt. His sister doesn't mind, obviously, but i get it. It's overwhelming sometimes.

I’m all for criticizing abusive social dynamics — when the critics know what they’re talking about, by experience or thorough academia. It is painfully obvious when you have neither
