@givemersspls if we combine your reasoning, Tsukamoto being fundamentally scared, with what his mother said in the post-match of 2nd round (prob, I forgot). It actually makes sense. Tsukamoto always have been scared of people's expectation, not just in football, but in all his life.

Jesus, what a chapter title to go with this. This has to be one of the most "artistic" manga-ka to ever decide to write a sports manga. Not like drawing kind of "artistic" but like the abstract "what makes art, art?" kind of artistic.

This hit me deeper and harder than I could handle, cause I can relate to it somehow. I really spent a long time thinking about what Tsukamoto's feeling, and how I'm always feeling something like this, and even worse, running away from things before they ever get to the point Tsukamoto's got with soccer.

This is some fucking heavy shit.
