I have so much hope for this manga. It started good but lacks character depth. Should've delve more on Sa-chan's character, than showing multiple chapter of Kyo in despair. This manga had so much potential in the first half, sadly

This manga had an good ish start and bit complicated story... unfortunately it went straight downhill in the concluding chapters. I wouldn't recommend anyone to read this. Maybe read Scum's wish or something insted. Hoping the next work of the author will be better.

Society's view on cheating is so unbelievably fucked. Its as if the scale of moral wrongdoers goes 1. Hitler 2. Stalin 3. Cheaters 4. All other wrongs, I swear. Unironically the husband of the girl he cheated with was doing way more fucked shit than anything the MC did in this manga. That level of obsessive control over your partner to the point where he'd install cameras in her fucking apartment is insane. Also, the college friend character raped girls. The fact that he felt the need to punish himself as hard as he did is sad.

I'll never accept that ending. It might seem heartwarming to some. Well, it's good that he moved on but. It would've been better if he managed to by himself. Without any need for romance. He needs to love himself. Then in a way, he wont be the same as his father. Well, my opinion though. But I still feel ashamed getting emotionally involved to this manga. I'm really disappointed.

Sa-chan leaving the toxicity. It took her a long time but YES GIRL!!! ML deserves it though. I mean...don’t enter in a relationship where you have issues with yourself. Don’t drag another person into the pit just because of your selfishness. Life and relationships doesn’t work that way.

Ending is pretty fvcked up as well so yeah...

This was a terribly written series but still felt for the characters kept me interested to know how it would end which now I'm disappointed in getting my hopes up

Also feel this might of been axed since it seems the author was trying to have her be pregnant but that was ignored also it's weird sa chan pushes to keep the relationship was expecting to get some backstory on her and why she was dependent on kyos love which is never answered

Also seems from a twitter post the ending we got was originally meant to be a what if extra chapter he ended up decided throwing in

I really feel bad for kyo in the end of course he did what he did but he was an emotionally numb person to an extent hes inept with social interactions to the point he didn't realize what he was doing was wrong. Only to be left in the end of the series in a miserable state he really deserved to find happiness and normalcy

@naverenoh It’s the small injustices or wrongs that feel worse than the big ones. It’s why we have an easier time relating emotionally to the story of one death while being numb to some massive number. It’s also why in a story we can hate the character who is a mean and petty bully but might have a harder time hating the character who is responsible for great crimes.

That said, on an emotional level I really despise cheating but wouldn’t equate it to truly horrific crimes.
