Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku - Vol. 11 Ch. 68 - Dinner

calling a sword a lump of steel... 😞 its a sword... not a bloody hammer!
and serious injury from the flat side? its the flat side... so... serious injury? no, just no, it wont draw blood, no broken bones, no damaged organs, just a bruise and lots of pain.
and Lulu being ugly makes zero sense in such a diverse fantasy world.

@theldras

The flat of a sword blade could absolutely still be a serious injury, it's going to weigh as much or more than a baseball bat. Broken bones or a concussion are a real possibility, clubs were very effective weapons.

Why the knight is so full of prejudice?
Are they truly a Knight?
Or is the quality of Knight profession that low?
If it's true, then no wonder the Knight population very few.
They got what they deserved

@theldras
the part where Lulu looks ugly had been explained in the early chapter

you know even real world, beauty standard has changed from time to time

Out of the flambee into the fire... (From drunks acting fanatic to just fanatics)

@bejad007 it's still pretty odd, an ideal beauty from a different era would likely still be attractive, just not ideal.

But then again, in ancient Japan ideal beauty included shaved eyebrows redrawn near the hairline and black teeth so... what do i know, hah.

that knight pisses me off... aren't knights trained? she's acting like a arrogant prick.
The MC is just accepts that she tried to seriously injure kids, and then scolds them while not saying sh*t to her about her overreaction.
although i did expect that kind of attitude from him...
also thanks for the chapter!!

These guys act like what knights really were. They had the job of killing, and through achievements on the battlefield would be given honorary nobility. It was common for knights to look down on ordinary citizens as less than human.

@WillTell the Heian period in Japan's idea of beauty is really weird by modern standards, so it's not suprising they find Lulu ugly.

I mean even in modern day, there's stuff like neck extensions and feet binding from different cultures though the latter has mostly died out.

Sigh ... these chapters have just hurt, can we just get back to road tripping?

Boring set of chapters. Hope what's coming up offsets these boring chapters.

Its disgusting how superstitious and discriminatory those "knights" are
