that doesn't make sense at all - "good isekai" is a qualitative judgement and therefore personal taste; how does narrow-mindedness play into it and how the affect on the generic nature of the story make me narrow-minded? for you to not understand how THIS isekai is generic, it would suggest that you don't read enough isekais to grasp that Death March plays so many common tropes. I also did not say that I did not enjoy the manga; just because something is generic does not make in less enjoyable. I'm just saying it's been done before and if there's nuance omitted from the Light Novel or other source that's too bad for the story in the manga.You'd also have to be pretty narrow-minded to just go decrying good isekai as being generic, particularly if that affects whether you enjoy it or not.
