Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku - Vol. 6 Ch. 36 - Scheme

For real? A copper pot? The MC should know better than that.

Also, didn't the alch shop customer of last town have a similar moustache?

He just grabbed a metal pot filled with boiling water with his bare hands on page 5.......

poor nana qwq

(and to the comment below, didn't he get some fire/heat resistance some chapters back or something?)

@DonGiovanni - yes, it is the same person. He also tried to scam MC out of giant ant cores, knocked down a pedestrian, causing a bone fracture, and is being a lowlife in general.

So why can't he cast his own original cleaning and insect repellent magic? It'd be one thing if he wanted them to practice, but that's clearly not the case if he has them chugging mana potions.

Should I say the defenses of our girls are rather lacking, or are they just no ashamed?
Oh and here I thought he went to prostitutes cause he's into bug chasing, not that he's dense and unable to see all their advances.

These bandit-looking people are waiting to ambush an old lady and a child? Better ignore it, sounds like a bother
Does this guy even have a personality or is he just acting on the whims of the author? Sometimes he'll go out of his way to risk his life in order to help perfect strangers, then at times he's plain happy to not be dragged into some clearly shady business without a single thought spared for the potential victims.

Information at the pub makes it clear to be the potion delivery of the witch, so the victims aren't even strangers any longer.

I honestly don't care what type of character the author wants MC to be, I just want his actions to be somewhat consistent so he actually feels like a real person.

@whiteokami87 - yes, the beast girl trio and the two ex-princesses are still slaves. MC just doesn't have them wear collars, because he doesn't need to oppress them.
Mia and Nana aren't slaves.

@Degernase - I'd say the main personality trait of our MC is "sneaky". He did not want to fight those ruffians because that did not include any element of deception. Now, if he could sneak away at night to fight them, he'd totally do that.

@flannan Now that I've finished up the whole potion arc, my initial assessment seems correct. It's not that he couldn't help in time, it's that the plot demanded for him to help out too late so the plot could move onto the brewing portion.

I didn't see the MC being the least bit subtle during this whole mini-arc, sure he used some of his typical deceptive "All according to keikaku" nonsense but he sure drew a lot of attention from important people in positions of power. But being inconspicuous is only important when the author wants to put breaks on the OP MC he created.

So they're more like an anti-harem that exist for the sole purpose of preventing him getting laid.
