It is my hope that at some point (even if far off) the MC will develop some sort of ambition. That he might realized that he can things most people can't. So instead of traveling around pretending to be a peddler (who doesn't sell anything), he could do almost anything else.

And even if he doesn't want anything more for himself than "a normal life", he could want that for those around him. Something, somehow should inspire him to be more than a fake peddler. Something needs to happen to give his life purpose. Those who have read the novels, please tell me this is so.

@bk3k His goal is to sightsee, and later on help raise the girls' levels so they can survive if they want to go off on their own. He's extremely passive, loves prostitutes, and only fights when situations would interfere with his pleasure trips.

He eventually has to fight demon lords and wants to marry a high elf, but has to become a god first. The latter has been kind of put to the wayside up to the current WN chapters.
