Delicious in Dungeon World Guide: The Adventurer's Bible - Ch. 2 - Marcille

@cgr in the dungeon meshi world half elves can live longer than elves, they are an unstable race unlike that on the dnd version.

Source: the thistle chapter where they all die

@Nightdotexe Because it never mentioned in the book, she's quite different with other elf with no explanation, and I comment after reading like the first two pages.

Huh, I thought it was confirmed in chapter 4 that she indeed had used the dog method with mandrakes.

quote: dwarves are supposed to live 2.5 times longer than humans

@Aldis
First it was implied in the nightmare chapter, when it was stated that her father died early and her mother told her "you run at a different pace than everybody else".

Comment sections did go mad about it. But finally, it was spelled out literally in chapter 68 and 69

So excuse me that I'm baffled that someone didn't get the memo

@Nightdotexe

Senshin is 112 yrs old, he's in his prime and nearing old age if we assume that dwarves lives up to only 150 yrs (2.5 times longer than tallmen), but laios said "average" for tallmen is 60 yrs, so we can also say they can go past that age, plus 10-30 yrs? which seems fair enough, for me atleast.

also the Gnome employer of namari is 210 yrs old but still quite energetic.

@Demoli
@Alhazred23
sorry, I missed that, but I interpret the 'unstable lifespan' as 'most half-elves have much shorter lifespan than elves, but sometimes there is really long lived half-elf'.

unless marcille is one of the rarer cases, I think estimating her as comparable to a 25 year old human is ok.

@Nightdotexe
First it was implied in the nightmare chapter, when it was stated that her father died early and her mother told her "you run at a different pace than everybody else".

'Died early' can be everything: accident, old age, ACCIDENT, etc.
'you run at a different pace than everybody else' everybody else can be... everybody else... like her tall-foot friends....

So excuse me that I'm baffled that someone didn't get the memo
Well excuse me for being someone who read at own pace, have no time to read the latest, and jump to the extra.

I mainly comment because her design is different than other elf.

marcille is a half-blood elf , while her mother is a pure-blood elf , i guess this will be their inevitable fate : https://mangadex.org/chapter/1065416/1

her mother , an elf , married a tallman/human , then she re-married a gnome , his race 's height is very short . i guess her mother is a kinky interspecies reviewer , lol : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADKJNhTy_pw

@daywithoutgames
Gnomes can live up to 200 years old if the Tances are any indication. So they can at least live twice as long than humans/tallmans. You might be thinking of half-foots like Chilchuck, who only live to about 50.

I think races in Dungeon Meshi sorted by lifespan would be like Elf>Gnome>Dwarf>Tallman>Orc(?)>Half-foot
Just missing Onis/Ogres like Tade and Kobolds. Hopefully we'll get more info on them in this book.
