Delta of Midsummer - Vol. 1 Ch. 5 - Shin

kinda sad it wrapped with this chapter, i was hoping for one more - thanks for translating it all, appreciate your work!

Kinda of bothered me shin's personality and actions in the other chapters, this explains a lot 'u'

Just like that? It felt short.
Kinda evident that Shiiba friend was aiming for Mitsuji.

It is sad that she destroyed her teeth instead of just not caring about what other thinks. She did the wrong decision there.

Felt more shoujo-drama than josei-psychological to me, but still a decent read overall. Thanks as usual, @LSD

That was quite nice. Like I said, this story illustrated the struggles of growing up and trying to fit in really well. It was nice to see that all the characters were struggling and each had good and bad points.

This was a beautiful read, but I really wish they tell more about grown-up Shin.

I liked this story. Nobody was nice, but nobody was idiotically mean, though I dislike Shin way more than the other two.
In the end, they all have their flaws, but because Shiiba and Mitsuji are "normal" teenagers (eg because they have wishes like "I want to fit in", "I want to be liked", "I'm afraid to be cut off" etc), they weren"t able to express themselves honestly.
Shin, on the other hand, seems to be more perceptive and a "couldn't-give-a-damn" type of person. Somehow, I think he helped Mitsuji and Shiiba to grow up, even though it was all for his own benefit.
