I start to be unable to understand Mc anymore. he shows kindles to people he tries to be unrelated to use them , than forms a 'bond" to mercilessly kill them. He kinda contradicts himself few times in the process

What's the point of any of this shit? So far we've been reading about a demonic cultivator, but now he's a hero of justice? While wearing the face of a guy he murdered, why would he go against said guy's preestablished wimpy and weak persona to help these pretend friends as if they matter? How isn't anyone catching on? And if you're going to change directions, why in this extremely clichéd road? Also, why be so blatant in trying to outrage the reader through the villain's behaviors? This is just dumb on every level other than maybe the art.

@Phantonn1 @twinklecake Maybe just reread in slower pace if this is too much for you. MC is being hunted by one of the biggest clan in the country so he has to disguise himself to join this medicine and herb festival in order to obtain stuff that help the egg to grow. Now then why would he draws attention to himself so that people would just get in his way as well as ruining the festival?
Help some random people is basically the same as using them to him just like the last arc in ss1.

@chikikuto I didn't say I don't understand anything. The plot isn't complicated enough to get lost, though it is forgettable enough for it. He is drawing attention to himself, a whole bunch, which is the whole point of my comment, so maybe you should have read my comment at a slower pace instead.
