I know this manga doesn't exactly have common sense but i must ask...

Why does the victim accuse the detective in the end? He only shoot one bazooka to his assistant at the start until the scream is heard. So it's definitely not because the detective is the actual cause of the injury that befall the victim.

Don't tell me it's just petty revenge for not calling ambulance or any medical assistance immediately!?

On page 7, Detective shoots a bazooka at suspect 'number 2' based on a faulty misreading of the first victim's dying message '2'.
The surviving victim on pages 21/22 has a number 2 on his forehead, indicating that the he is one the Detective shot with a bazooka.

For some reason it didn't connect to me at all that the victim in the end has 2 written on his head plus how the detective called him "No.2".
