Great job as always, however: Sometimes you should consider the kind of voice you give the characters.

"This island is known to be a Christian execution ground, okay? So how the heck is this a sanctuary?"

Like this doesn't really sound right coming from a commanding middle-aged woman, all dressed up in a kimono and dignity.

@solchimes I think they made her talk like specifically because she is

a commanding middle-aged woman, all dressed up in a kimono and dignity.

Those type of people usually lose their cool once their perception of being above and beyond everyone else is shattering in other words she lost the battle of foreknowledge and wanted answers

@AthalosJ pretty good explanation there ... watching some drama last night and yep, rich lady losing her cool acts like that
pretty good series so far, being weekly and mantaining great mistery is hard, so author has me hooked
