The story itself isn't really that great. But the faces and expressions....the Art is Incredible! I'm more leaning to the art than the actual story.

This is interesting to read, but the mysteries are lousy. The solutions to the second (and probably the third, since we don't have the official answer yet) mysteries are really obvious, and the first one is just a badly-presented mystery story. (And yes, there is a fairly official way to evaluate the presentation of a mystery story: a well-written mystery story will let the reader/viewer have all the clues before the criminal is unmasked. In that first story, while the detective gives his deduction he lists evidence which we, the readers, did not already have. The Kindaichi series, corny as it sometimes gets, is actually pretty good at making sure it is at least possible to work out the criminal from the clues.)

There's nothing particularly official about it. Those conventions are for a style of mystery novel that was most popular in the early 20th century and there's no rule that all mystery or mystery-related novels must fall into that subgenre. Notably, police procedurals can be both extremely popular and highly regarded but do not obey those conventions at all.

I actually questioning about the logic behind every trick, which looks logical but not really. It's generally quite interesting tho, and I like how fast paced and to-the-point the plot is.

Going to give Detective Conan 2.0: Edgy Edition a chance because MC and loli assassin are interesting, but that first case was terrible.

To the smart-ass who changed the title to Japanese: An official English title is present on the volume covers and under every series logo in the chapters. Don't change it back.

@Gent Wasn't by the scanlators. Some guys on here really like changing volume covers and titles randomly it seems.
