Nah not really. This is normal in baseball because there is an extra adrenaline pumping through the body due to the pressure of now protecting a lead. It can mess the pitchers mindset but sometimes it cools it down.

@razxiko This is common in all sports and it's just basic overstraining. In a extremely even game you've finally gained the lead so you're trying too hard to keep it that way. Simply said you're working too hard and end up making simple mistakes. Well in a pitchers case it would either be a breaking down of form or focusing on the wrong things
