Personally I like this, I think their copying Cardcaptors too much but that said, having this moment gives Dontea time to reflect on everything that had happened, his own dreams and aspirations. It’s away from all the fighting and chaos so with this he can truely consider the path he wishes to take instead of being rushed in the heat of the moment with strong burning emotion
