Dimensional Mercenary - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Man, his situation mirrors mine a little too closely. Sitting on a dusty electronic engineering degree and magna cum laude certificate that have earned me $0.00 since I graduated over a decade ago.

@Ninja17199 You have to try pretty hard to get a decent motherboard that doesn't have LEDs on it now. By decent, I mean one with ports and slots for attaching useful expansion cards, not just a single PCIe 16X video card.
My new system was about $600 (spread out over a few months) or so, but it inherited most of the hard drives, and all of the peripherals of my previous computer.

@Kara0ke: if you mean the foreshadowing is dropped because he already went to another world, dunno why but i get the feeling he is gonna travel through worlds.
Just my guess tho.

$344,000 a month? did ya mistranslate dear translator? what did you do? drug dealer? I wanna quit my current job and be caddy too in this case.

so you sell your soul, not for riches or magical powers or even eternal life but for a job. a job that is extremely dangerous and with little pay... this seems like a pretty shitty deal to be honest

cares about family the most.. lets send him to a new world so his family has to live without him

they can make dimensional travel possible, why would it be worth it to employ a no one like mc? this is the question i ask myself.
for the company [profitable yeee], it is only worth it if souls are more worth it than we think, and this is all a trap. they go for people without foundation. when they are in despair and they are easy to exploit. like the mc here.
this feels so much like cases when someone person set a exploitable young girl living on a vulnerable society for prostitution. it is all a trap. or when someone set another young one up for a 'good job' in the big city, but actually it is more like slavery, while the term may not be applied directly is so close to it.
those are all cases of human exploitation, and this ring too close to his case. why would they go to someone so vulnerable?
in reality people already give their whole time (past, present and future lol) and mind to companies, but in this case he is even giving his soul.... it is too tragic. too pitiful. I can't but think this is all a scam.

This company will most probably exploit him with this interview. This has potential but we've seen it wasted all the time.
